Quartz has been known and appreciated since Pre-Historic times. It is the most important and necessary consistent of many industries like ceramics, Glass and Alloys etc. It occurs in nature both in the free state and in the forms of its compound the silicates. Quartz Molecular Structure:-
The chemical formula for quartz is SiO2. This indicates that quartz is made of the elements silicon and oxygen. Quartz is also called silicon.
Physical Properties:-
Quartz is Transparent and has no colour.
Specific Gravity is 2.64.
Moh’s Hardness is 6.
It is stable above 1470 o c
Chemical Properties:-
Since its oxide there is no reaction with oxygen. But when heated with magnesium at high temperature it reduced to silicon.
Also it is insoluble in water.
It is insoluble in all acids except HF, it dissolves in HF forming silicon Tetra Fluoride.
Being acidic in nature, it readily reacts with alkalies and forming of silicates.
It reacts with carbon and forming Silicon carbide.

• Full of White and as well as washed with water.

• Package will be 1.1 Mt Jumbo bags with Inner Liner and also can be load loose bulks in the container. Customised packing facility also available.

• Fe2o3 >0.01%
Quartz Lumps Grade M
Grade M:- Product Code :- QLGRM
• Washed with water.
• You can see some red and yellow patches on the lumps.
• Sizes will be 20 mm to 100 mm.
• Package will be 1.1 Mt Jumbo bags with Inner Liner and also can be load loose bulks in the container. Customised packing facility also available.
• Sio2 >99.5%
• Fe2o3 >0.05%
Quartz Lumps Grade B
Grade B Product Code QLGRB
• Sizes will be 20 mm to 100 mm.
• Package will be 1.1 Mt Jumbo bags with Inner Liner and also can be load loose bulks in the container. Customized packing facility also available.

We are offering Quartz in a powder form also. Normally we are offering 100 mesh size to 350 mesh sizes. Apart from this size also we are manufacturing that depends upon the client requirements.
